Just a ‘quick’ update on whats been going on this week. What a difference a day makes. When I went to bed last night and it was white and frosty. When I get up it is mild and pouring with rain. Ah.. must resalise that it’s the first day back at hockey (it always rains on hockey days).
Well last week was a real mental struggle for me. I had some difficult projects to complete for one of my clients from the promotion business. So I have been up at 4am each day so that I canget a good slug of work done before the phones start going.
I have also been working hard to promote my Nofuss Internet Business. You will recall that I have switched off all paid advertising and I am generating traffic by free/low cost methods only. This is to show that these methods do work. I have made a few videos and submitted two articles this week. The articles were published on Wednesday and Friday and I was eagerly watching my stats to see my traffic zoom up (I should know better) anyway by Friday I was exhausted and fed up. To top it all the client changed the goal posts on the project I had been working on so I was back to square one.
When I turned in on Friday night I was certainly Mr Grumpy!
Saturday morning I was reluctant to get up but when I eventually did (because I had to walk the dogs etc.) I checked my site stats and hey presto here comes the traffic! The Friday article had sent me 8 visitors and the Wednesday article sent me 6 unique visitors and there were 16 others from links on YouTube and Forums.
Now in hindsight, with a clearer head this is probably much better than I should expect. The message here is simple you have to believe in what you are doing and keep at it. The things we teach and practice are proven strategies. So if you follow the plan you will see results.
So what am I doing next. Well writing 2 more articles, and making another video, commenting on blogs and forums. And keeping to the PLAN because I know it WILL work.
